November 1 - 30: The Art of Music Show at the Hays Senior Citizen Center. Open house on November 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. features an exciting exhibit with art painted to music. The exhibit features early and current photographs, sheet music, LP art, posters and original art all with a musical theme. Handmade items include tye dye, embroidery, jewelry, aromatherapy, knitted items, ornament painting for the kiddos, and much more. Shop saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

November 17: Join the Argenta Branch Library for Tail Waggin' Tutors and "Read to the Dogs" at 10:30 AM.

November 17: The Arvest on Ice rink opens and will run through Sunday January 6, 2013. Skating rink hours will be Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entry fees will be $9 per person including tax and skate rental, with children ages four and under free with paid adult admission. The Arkansas Skatium and their personnel will return to facilitate daily operations of the rink.
