'JFK 50 Years Later' Press Conference

A news conference will be held to announce further details, including event schedule, about “JFK 50 Years Later,” an archival photography exhibition to be held March 25-30 in North Little Rock’s Argenta Arts District. The exhibition, which includes photos that have never or rarely been seen, focuses on various aspects of the life and times of the 35th U.S. President.

When:            Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m.

Where:           Historic Argenta Post Office (now Argenta Branch Library), 420 Main St., North Little Rock

Who: Speakers will include John Rogers, owner of Rogers Photo Archive in North Little Rock, the largest privately owned collection of photographic images; Pammi Fabert, executive director of Art Connection; and John Gaudin, chairman of the Board of Directors for the Argenta Arts Foundation.

Rogers, who partnered with the Argenta Arts Foundation to make the exhibition possible, is a true connoisseur of photographic art. Rogers Photo Archive has partnered with many of the world’s greatest newspapers, magazines and photographers to restore, digitize and lease unique collections of historical photography.

Gaudin, owner of Argenta Wealth Management, has been the lead manager since 2005 of the New Argenta Fund, The Mill and Silver City, a development team resurrecting the Historic Commercial District of North Little Rock. The Argenta Arts District has become a model in the state for new urban planning and design. Active in the community, Gaudin was a founding member of the Argenta Downtown Council and the Argenta Arts Foundation.

Art Connection is an after school and summer visual arts work program for North Little Rock High School students. Its goal is to create leaders and develop innovators through hands on training in the visual arts industry. The gallery will feature the images of the President and his family.
