State park bioarchaeologist to speak at Pulaski Tech

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Dr. Melissa Zabecki Havey, a  bioarchaeologist with Parkin Archaeological State Park, will be the guest speaker for the Pulaski Technical College Anthropology Club's meeting on Nov. 16.

The event will be held at the Celebrity Chef Theatre at the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute located at 13000 Interstae 30 starting at 7 p.m. 

Dr. Harvey will speak about osteoarchaeology and mortuary archaeology with a link to Egyptology and burial mound archaeology in Arkansas. The lecture is free and open to the public.
