LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Thousands of spectators flocked to the Metroplex to see Little Rock Fashion Week's fashion presentation at the Seventh Annual Midsouth Summit Black Expo, this past weekend. The show served as a sneak peak for audience members into Little Rock Fashion Week (LRFW) 2011, which is scheduled July 11-16 in downtown Little Rock.

"This was a very important event for us. It was a an opportunity to reconnect with our followers in the community on a more intimate level, and reiterate our mission," says Brandon Campbell. "Little Rock Fashion Week isn't about just partying and fashion shows. It's about celebrating Arkansas communities, bringing people together with people, promoting people's talents and inspiring young people. These are examples of what makes Little Rock Fashion Week the best fashion experience in America. In the end, when I saw a lot of people from all different backgrounds smiling, I knew our mission was accomplished."

Attendees were treated to couture fashions by Savers, the Nicole McGehee Collection (LRFW 2010 Clothing Line of the Year), NaJo by Natasha Rawls (LRFW 2009 Clothing Line of the Year) and Graffiti by 13-year old fashion designer Aaliyah Fisher, who will become the youngest designer to ever showcase in a fashion week. Clothes were worn on the runway by LRFW’s best male, female models and kid models. Campbell served as the emcee.

Models hair was done by Lou’s House of Design salon, located 1300 West 4th in Little Rock. Tonya Zambrano, of Lancome Cosmetics at Dillard’s McCain Mall, provided her make-up services. Dude Photography took photos of models on the runway.

Founded in 2009 by Campbell, LRFW is quickly becoming the fastest growing fashion week in the nation. It highlights the talents of local and national designers, models, hairstylists, make-up artists and musicians. LRFW connects creative minds to consumers and buyers, and connects businesses to target customers. More importantly, LRFW promotes community involvement and togetherness. The Third Annual Little Rock Fashion Week is July 11-16 in downtown Little Rock.
