ZoSo: Led Zeppelin Experience brings tribute to LR Saturday, April 16

One of the country's most highly acclaimed rock tribute bands, ZoSo the Led Zeppelin Experience, graces Little Rockers with their awesome stage presence and spot-on rock 'n' roll this Saturday, April 16 when they play Revolution Music Room in the River Market.

Four years after forming in California to almost instant critical applause, in 1999 ZoSo began touring nationally and hasn't stopped since — a remarkable 2,400-plus live performances later. Their passion, musical ability, showmanship and precise attention to detail — musically and visually (these guys even look like the real thing) — have earned them continued praise from music critics as well as name recognition and a large loyal following.

The Los Angeles Times hailed the group as being "head and shoulders above all other Zeppelin tributes," and the Chicago Sun-Times declared ZoSo to be "the closest to the original of any tribute." EarCandyMag.com, in a review last fall, wrote: "'Robert Plant' had all the moves and posings of the real Plant to an uncanny degree, in addition to having the voice!"

Seven years ago, the band became one of just a handful of tribute shows to ever perform on the House of Blues circuit, and their stellar performances have kept them playing the 9 House of Blues venues nationwide ever since.

The four permanent members’ mastery of authentic vintage instruments coupled with spot-on vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keyboards; their compelling stage persona and distinct Led Zeppelin sound; and their astounding visual imagery all help to recreate the music, magic and mystery of a Zeppelin concert, critics and reviewers have said.

Their set list starts off with four breathtaking Zep hits that will rock your world: "Good Times Bad Times," "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," "Dazed & Confused" (which often includes an original extended jam that wows audiences everywhere) and "Whole Lotta Love," followed by two more hours' worth of Led Zeppelin tunes loved by generations of fans.

Of all the tribute shows we've seen, ZoSo is definitely head and shoulders above the rest. We can't wait for this rock 'n' roll tribute show, and after you've seen them perform you will feel the same way the next time they roll into town — if we're lucky enough to get them back.

Don't miss this show if you like Led Zeppelin or if you just like a great rock 'n' roll show! And it's open to all ages.
