The THEA Foundation’s 2011 Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Competitions are fast approaching. Each year the THEA Foundation offers ten scholarships in the Visual Arts and ten scholarships in the Performing Arts to Arkansas High School Seniors (public, private, home-schooled, and GED students are eligible).

The theme for this year’s Visual Arts Scholarship Competition is “Amazing Butterflies.”  The competition is based on a different theme each year taken from Thea's high school journal.   Judging will be based on creativity, design, and interpretation of the theme.
