LITTLE ROCK, Ark.American Red Cross of Greater Arkansas wants Arkansans to release stress from April and May’s severe weather by joining them May 12 for an evening of great music and dancing to support local disaster relief:

Red Hot Party fueled by Windstream

Featuring the music of Memphis Soul Review & Tragickly White

Doors open at 6:45   Dancing begins 7:15pm

"The last month as been tough on everyone," stated Red Hot Party Chair and Windstream Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Ric Crane. "The Red Hot Party is going to provide a valve to release the stress and tension we’ve all been under from repeated disasters, as well as have a community event to raise funds for the Chapter to stay ready for the next disaster response that we know will unfortunately happen."

The evening will feature the music of two of the regions hottest bands, the Memphis Soul Review and Tragickly White. “We can also celebrate the work of the Red Cross volunteers with two outstanding party bands.”

VIP Guests will enjoy the Style of Your Life Lounge by Dillard’s.  Party beverages will be provided for all guests by Glazer’s of Arkansas.

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at www.arkansasredcross.org .  $35 of the ticket is tax deductible.  VIP sponsorships are also available.  “This is an incredible party; your ticket purchase provides you with a night to enjoy, a tax deduction and gives you a way to help Arkansans at a critical time after a disaster has hit them, which happens around the clock, everyday.”

Memphis Soul Review, the crowd pleasing powerhouse, will kick the Red Hot Party off with favorites from oldies to disco, R&B to Jazz, with a little Country and Hip Hop; you can’t stay seated with this incredible band.  You’ll know the party’s started when you hear the great vocals and the powerful Soul City Horns guaranteeing an unforgettable evening.  For nearly 20 years, Memphis Soul Revue has played every conceivable type of event from private parties, corporate events, weddings and fundraisers, to playing for past Presidents and celebrities.

Tragickly White has also earned a reputation as one of the south’s premier party bands, playing dance favorites from the 70?s to today’s popular hits, always delivering a top notch show. The band’s performances have made them one of the most popular and highly sought-after touring bands in the Southeastern United States. Tragickly White was just ranked “#1 Club Act in AR.” on MySpace.com.  They have been voted the Best Band in Arkansas by Rock 103.7 and the Arkansas Free Press. Tragickly White is consistently listed in The Arkansas Times as one of Arkansas’ Best Bands and state’s favorite live acts, with regular sold out concerts. They stay in demand headlining festivals, clubs and colleges, and frequently entertain at corporate events across the South.
