For one night, Johnny Cash and his soulful music is being brought back to life.  The ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas is hosting the Johnny Cash music festival on August 4 with several different artists playing tribute to the legend who passed away in 2003. July 11, 2011 (Little Rock, Arkansas) – The fastest growing fashion week in America, Little Rock Fashion Week (LRFW) heats up with NBC Miami star, Peter Bailey.

Bailey, host of NBC's Miami-based entertainment show NiteCap with Peter Bailey, will take center stage as he co-hosts the featured Posh Expression Fashion Experience on Saturday, July 16.  

"I've seen Brandon foster Little Rock Fashion Week from an idea into a movement to foster growth and opportunity in his native hometown," says Bailey. "I'm a fan of such innovation.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The fastest growing fashion week in America, Little Rock Fashion Week will be held July 11-16 in downtown Little Rock. This annual event will showcase collections of emerging local, regional and national clothing and jewelry designers, as well as the best of our region’s hairstylists, makeup artists and musical performers.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The fastest growing fashion week in America, Little Rock Fashion Week will be held July 11-16 in downtown Little Rock. To be very frank, we are breaking all sorts of fashion show rules that I’m confident people will love and that will be followed after Little Rock Fashion Week 2011.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The William F. Laman Public Library System announces its second annual LAMANPALOOZA with musical guests Trout Fishing in America and a slew of prizes for giveaway, including an iPad 2, bikes, and gift certificates, as part of its end-of-summer-reading bash.

LAMANPALOOZA will occur Friday, August 5, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the main library at 2801 Orange Street in North Little Rock.

"The Great Escape" benefits Women's Shelter of Central Arkansas

 The Women's Shelter of Central Arkansas has provided emergency assistance to domestic violence victims since November of 1995.  In an effort to generate community support, and ensure services in the future, the Women’s Shelter created the annual event known as “The Great Escape”.  The Great Escape is to be held on August 6, 2011 from 9:00 a.m-3:00 p.m. at the Conway Expo Center and Fairgrounds in Conway, Arkansas.

 The Great Escape provides a day for women to be pampered by massage therapists, skin professionals and manicurists. Spa services are $10 and proceeds are donated to the Women's Shelter of Central Arkansas.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at Pulaski Technical College.  The drive will be taking place from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Pulaski Technical College is located at 3000 W.
