Routine bridge inspection will require lane closures on I-440

LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) – A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures and a ramp reduction on Interstate 430 in North Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be inspecting a bridge just south of Interstate 40. The work will require closing the I-430 southbound outside lane. It will also reduce the width of the southbound on ramp from Interstate 40 eastbound. The closures will occur between mile markers 9 and 10.

The closures will be Tuesday, May 20th and Wednesday, May 21st, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
