NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A tree fell on a house on Crystal Hill Blvd., reportedly injuring one person.

According to John Robinson with NOAA, the tree fell around 11:15 a.m. Thursday onto the home off Maumelle Blvd., just outside the North Little Rock city limits. He said a person in the home was injured and taken to a hospital.

Robinson said the tree fell due to very soggy ground and wet foliage. Additionally, for the 24-hour period ending at 7 a.m. Thursday, North Little Rock experienced the greatest rainfall in Arkansas – a sum of 2.26 inches.

The condition of the injured person is unknown at this time.
