More bus crash victims head home

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - All of the survivors from the North Little Rock bus crash began their trip home on Sunday.

Six farm workers died after their charter bus, on its way to Laredo, Texas, crashed off Interstate 40 in North Little Rock early Friday morning. Some of the 16 survivors have been held up in local hotels over the weekend. The Mexican Consulate as well as the Arkansas Red Cross did their best to keep them comfortable.

A couple of the victims with head injuries asked to stay one more day, but the consulate told THV11 that everyone had flown home by 9 p.m. Friday, November 8.

Federal investigators are still looking in to the cause of the crash.
