11 Listens: NLR leaf vacuum service running behind
News

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Many of you have been asking about North Little Rock's leaf vacuum service, and when it will be up and running.

The answer THV11 got from officials was that it depends. City officials said the service began picking up leaves last month but has been delayed because of weather.

"We're doing the best we can to get this wonderful, free service by the way to our citizens and ask for their patience as we work the issue of delays and volume and weather," said Mayor Joe Smith.

The service typically runs every two to six weeks through five different zones. To see where it is or where it's going, be sure to check the North Little Rock city website or their Facebook page.

If you can't wait and are ready to get those leaves out of your yard, you can always bag your leaves for pickup.
