NLR couple celebrates, benefits from DOMA ruling

NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KTHV) - THV 11 News caught up with Randy Eddy-McCain and Gary Eddy-McCain on Wednesday, getting their reaction to the major D.O.M.A. ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Outside their North Little Rock home Wednesday, some one had set up surprise balloons for the residents.

"We don't know who did it, but its obviously someone who knows us, and what a nice surprise to come home and find this," Gary Eddy-McCain said.

The balloons help celebrate a historic day for Randy and Gary Eddy-McCain. They are a gay, married couple thrilled with Wednesday's news from the U.S. Supreme Court.

"It was just a very important feeling of joy, excitement, relief," Gary Eddy-McCain said.
