LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) – A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures on Interstate 440 in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be inspecting the Interstate 440 bridge over the Arkansas River. The work will require closing the eastbound and westbound outside lanes on Interstate 440.

The eastbound outside lane closure will be Monday, September 29th & Tuesday, September 30th, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. The westbound outside lane closure will be Tuesday, September 30th and Wednesday, October 1st, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
