Written by Wendy Miya                                                                                                                                                                                Little Rock, Ark. - Founder and executive producer of Little Rock Fashion Week Brandon D. Campbell has been invited to speak at Camp iRock on June 20th from 10:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff campus.

Camp iRock is a free one week fitness and nutrition camp that promotes healthier lifestyles for girls, who are minorities or live in underserved communities.

“Camp iRock is more than what you put on your plate, it’s about being healthy on the inside and out” says Regina Taylor, director of Camp iRock. “Brandon’s work with different models, how he got to where he is now in the entertainment industry and his emphasis on poise and confidence would be a good message for the girl’s involved.”

Campbell, a University of Iowa graduate, has worked in the fashion and entertainment industry with some of the best. His resume includes, working with E!  Entertainment, The Style Network and World Wrestling Entertainment. This is the second time Campbell has been asked to speak with the lovely iRock ladies.

“Last year at Camp iRock, I had one of the best times of my professional career. It was a lot of fun. The girls showed a lot of enthusiasm during my presentation,” says Campbell. “I'll share with them my story in fashion, entertainment and how I've gotten where I am today. More important will be my message on self-esteem and loving yourself inside and out.”

He also will show a video from last year’s LRFW. A few Camp iRock students will win tickets to LRFW 5, which is July 15-20.

Campbell’s work with LRFW makes him a great candidate to speak with these young girls because it is a real life glimpse at someone who works in an industry that young girls are enamored with. LRFW’s participation in Camp iRock is the perfect way to show these girls a positive side to the fashion world. This will show that hard work, poise, and confidence will get you where you want to be in life and that’s what these two organizations are all about.
